Intro

Hello! My name is Luka Stojanovski. I’m a student at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE) at the University of Cyril and Methodius, majoring in Software Engineering. I was born on April 17, 2005, in Skopje.

Outside of my studies, I’m an active basketball referee with the Basketball Federation of Macedonia (KFM). This role has helped me develop strong decision-making and leadership skills.

As an aspiring web developer, I have experience with C++, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My main goal is to finish my bachelor’s degree and become a successful software engineer, contributing to innovative projects in the tech world.

Education

I graduated from Orce Nikolov High School with an excellent GPA of 4.7 out of 5.00. On my final high school exams (Matura), I achieved scores of 5, 5, 5, and 4, reflecting my dedication and strong academic performance.

Currently, I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE), University of Cyril and Methodius. My decision to study in this field was inspired by my passion for the IT industry, a keen interest in programming, and a family background in technology.

My favorite course so far has been Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in C++, which has deepened my understanding of software development. Throughout my studies, I have significantly improved my math and programming skills, gaining hands-on experience with C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I've also developed important skills in teamwork and problem-solving.

Looking ahead, I plan to pursue internships to gain practical experience and to specialize further in web development and artificial intelligence.

Career

My professional experience so far is centered around my role as a basketball referee with the Basketball Federation of Macedonia. I became a referee after a knee surgery brought my playing career to an end, allowing me to stay connected to the sport I love from a new perspective.

As a referee, I have had the privilege of officiating significant games, including the final of the U14 men's national competition and making my debut in the 2nd Macedonian League. This role has helped me develop valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, and communication.

While I have not yet held a job or internship in the IT field, I am actively building my skills by completing Python courses on Udemy and currently pursuing a web development course. My career goals are focused on web development and artificial intelligence, and I look forward to gaining practical experience through internships and projects in the near future.
